Listening to the enemy and its agents
Roger Pilon gives some of the history of foreign intelligence and the unconstitutional attempts by Congress to regulate the gathering of that intelligence.
The paranoia of Democrats has led them to harm our efforts to defend ourselves. There is a certain amount of arrogance and hubris in the Democrat position. The first is the belief that an administration would want to listen to the private conversations of those who are so openly critical of them. The left in this country is very open about its hatred of this administration. bugging their conversations would be a waste of time and resources if anyone were inclined to do so in the first place. Security professionals are much more interested in stopping mass murder by a wicked enemy. Anyone communicating with that enemy should have no expectation of privacy.
