McCain looks like Florida "winner"

Fox and AP have called the race for McCain with about 35 percent of the vote. Romney's was close at about 32 percent and his slender hope is that absentee ballots might make up some of the difference.

There have been some reports that Giuliani endorse McCain later this week. This is not much of a surprise because Giuliani has said in several debates that if he were not in it he would be backing McCain.

Huckabee who came in fourth in Florida, says that he is in the lead in several of the Super Tuesday races at least in the southern states and that he is staying in.

It can be expected that Romney will stay in the race and hope to pick up the votes of those who do not want McCain to win. McCain has still not won the majority of votes in any contest, which means he will not be the first choice of most Republicans, but no one else is either.
