Media ask Biden spokesman why race with Trump is so tight

‘Why Is It So Close?’: CNN Host Presses Biden Campaign Co-Chair On Race Being Tight Despite Trump’s Legal Issues

 Trump is currently beating Biden by 0.5% nationally, according to the RealClearPolling average. Raju, on “Inside Politics,” asked Landrieu why the Biden campaign has not pulled further ahead of Trump given his legal issues, including a May felony conviction.

“Obviously this has been a neck-and-neck race. Polling shows that even though Donald Trump has been convicted on 34 felonies, been liable for sexual abuse and even after January 6, this race is still effectively tied. Some, many polls other than the Fox News one, had him ahead, former President Trump over Biden. So why is the Biden campaign unable to take advantage of any of this?” Raju asked.

 The Biden campaign has attacked Trump as a threat to democracy, but 38% of undecided voters in six swing states trust the former president more on the issue compared to 29% who said the same for the current president, according to the Washington Post-Schar School poll featuring “decider” voters.

I suspect that the reason Trump is still competitive is that voters do not agree with the lawfare campaign that the Biden team is pushing.  The cases have been tried in hostile territory to Trump and voters outside those areas see the cases as illegitimate.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014.
