The pro-Hamas Democrats
...
Last week, the Washington Examiner reported that Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) paid over $435,000 for “fundraising consulting.” The funds came from her campaign and leadership PAC and went towards the group Unbought Power.
Unbought Power is based out of Florida and is run by Rasha Mubarak.
Mubarak is considered “a close ally of Tlaib’s who recently held key roles for terrorism-tied organizations in the United States,” the Washington Examiner reports.
“The routine cash transfers from Rashida Tlaib for Congress and Rooted in Community Leadership PAC to Unbought Power underscore how the congresswoman has aligned herself with activists helping to coordinate operations for entities sharing connections to Hamas, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, and other terrorist factions,” the outlet continued.
“A joint fundraising committee for members of the Squad, including Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Cori Bush (D-MO), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), and other Democrats, also paid $86,000 to the firm run by Mubarak, who once said she is tired of hearing the ‘lie’ that ‘Israel has the right to defend herself’ against terrorism.”
Mubarak has posted about numerous pro-Hamas events on her Facebook page.
She’s also been tagged on Instagram posts that promote pro-Hamas demonstrations.
One post-Mubarak was tagged in on Instagram from last month shows a critical statement she made about the police in Orlando, Florida regarding alleged “anti-Palestinian racism.”
“The violent anti-Palestinian racism and repression from the City [of Orlando], and the gendered violence and assault from OPD I have experienced, are tools to sustain white supremacy and Zionism.”
It’s honestly no surprise at all that Rep. Tlaib would be associated with someone as radical as Mubarak.
Tlaib’s been heavily criticized by members of Congress for her disparaging remarks about Israel.
Some politicians believe that she’s been straight-up antisemitic with her comments and actions, especially in the wake of the October 7 attacks by Hamas on Israel.
Rep. Tlaib was censured in November, partly for defending the “From the River to the Sea” phrase which is considered antisemitic by many.
She did not respond to a comment request by the Washington Examiner or Fox News regarding her affiliation with Unbought Power and Rasha Mubarak.

Hamas engaged in the mass murder of Jews in Israel. It has openly made its genocidal ambitions known. Being against Hamas is not the same thing as being against Palestinians. The destruction of a group like Hamas is the best way to stop a war against Israel.
