Inflation problems persist under Biden

“Economists had expected a much milder increase,” reports Breitbart News. “The median forecast was for a 0.4 percent price increase month-to-month and a 4.9 percent increase for the year.”

Compared with a year ago, prices for goods are up 4.7 percent and prices for services have risen 5.7 percent. Food prices have soared, rising 11.1 percent, and energy prices increased 9.6 percent.

These new numbers tell us that inflation has accelerated, not slowed down, and that economists “have been underestimating the strength of inflationary pressures in the economy.”

We appear to still be feeling the effects of Biden's spending spree after taking office.  He and his then Democrat-controlled Congress took advantage of the pandemic to vastly increase federal spending.  Food and energy prices are two items that almost everyone has to have.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014.
