Free agent athletes avoid states with government greed

Poyer played in New York for the past six seasons, where state income taxes are higher than most

Athletes get to keep more of their earnings in Florida, Texas, Washington, Tennessee, Alaska, Wyoming, South Dakota, New Hampshire, and Nevada which have no state income tax.
