Med schools fights mythical white supremacy with its own brand of racism

In the wake of reports that the University of Minnesota Medical School had incoming students pledge to promote anti-racism and uproot white supremacy, the medical school has now acknowledged that it rewards faculty for promoting its left-wing diversity, equity, and inclusion agenda, and that it actively advocates for legal changes around that agenda.

According to a survey that University of Minnesota Medical School leaders completed earlier this year, the school’s tenure and promotion policies “specifically reward faculty scholarship and service on diversity, inclusion, and equity topics.” The school also reported that it advocates “policies and/or legislation at a local, state, or federal level” related to its DEI mission, and that its institutional leaders are “active within local, regional, and national forums” to promote DEI, according to the survey, obtained by National Review.

DEI is a race base concept for awarding jobs not based on merit but on ethnicity and race.  It is not about finding the best and brightest but achieving diversity based on race.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014. When the Congressional Budget Office crunched Obamacare's spending numbers, they estimated that only 7% of employees currently covered by employer-sponsored plans would lose their plans. ...
