What happens when you ignore merit in choosing leaders

Kamala Harris Is the Poster Child of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion; It's Not a Good Look 
Ignoring merit can have serious negative consequences not only politically, but also endanger the country. It will also have negative consequences on the growth and development of young people.  Those who oppose merit should be removed from leadership positions.
