The censors masquerading as 'fact-checkers'

The 2020 presidential election resulted in something I never thought I’d see — widespread, Soviet-style political censorship in American media. This censorship still dominates our discourse a year later, with no end in sight. There’s a lot to be said about how we got to this place, but it’s worth zeroing in on the two particular mechanisms for how this censorship is being enforced. The first is the rise of politicized media “fact-checkers,” and the second is Facebook. The fact these two entities have now joined forces means speaking freely online without an algorithm slapping a warning label on your opinion or psychoanalyzing your potential for extremism is becoming difficult.

I do find most fact-check offensive.  They take a voice of God tone to their arguments and act like their opinions are the only valid ones.   Many times they are completely wrong, but they censor anyway.  

The Big Tech censorship of Hunter Biden's laptop story led to the disastrous Biden administration which has resulted in cascading crisis because of Biden's ineptitude and corrupt nature.  Polls show that people who were unaware of the laptop corruption story would have changed their vote in enough numbers to change the outcome of the election.  

It is also the case that "fact-checkers" ignored the totally bogus Russian collusion hoax and the stories that were awarded Pulitzer prizes for pushing the hoax.  In fact, there have been serially false stories pushed in the mainstream media since the outbreak of "fact-checkers" that have not gotten that treatment. 

What this exposes is that "fact-checkers" were a snarky way to attempt to rebut things they did not like about Trump and his policies.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014. Bin Laden's concern about Zarqawi's remains
