Man gets only two months for lying to FBI about leaking to the media

NY Times:

Ex-Senate Aide Gets 2 Months in Prison for Lying to F.B.I. About Contact With Reporter

James A. Wolfe, the longtime director of security for the Senate Intelligence Committee, had pleaded guilty to one count of making a false statement to the F.B.I.
The lie was to cover up a real crime in the mishandling of classified information in support of a Democrat and media based coup attempt against the President.  It was a far more meaningful lie than the one Gen. Flynn pleaded guilty to yet the treatment of Flynn appears to be much harsher.  Flynn lied about conduct that would have not have been unlawful if he told the truth.  Wolfe lied about conduct that was unlawful, to begin with.

No explanation has ever been given for Flynn's lies to the FBI, but I suspect he was responded to the mad-dogging by former Obama officials and some in the media about the bogus suggestion that he had violated the Logan Act by discussing transition activity with the Russian Ambassador.  This looks like another example of the two-tier justice system where Trump supporters are subjected to unfair prosecutions on dubious charges.
