Emirates and Egypt Said to Secretly Attack Militia in Libya

American officials said they were caught by surprise by the airstrikes against Islamist-allied militias, in a major escalation by the bloc of nations seeking to roll back Islamist gains since the Arab Spring.
There is a potential for a coalition of Arab states to fight groups lide ISIL and Boko Harem as well as the Islamic religious bigots of North Africa in Libya.  It will be interesting to see just how effective their air strikes can be.
