Okla. residents’ reaction to botched execution: He had it coming
Many in the state say Clayton Lockett got exactly what he deserved; anything else “wouldn’t be right.”


The liberals who oppose capital punishment created this problem by blocking access to lethal injection drugs and they are now trying to take advantage of it by showing their empathy for an evil man who killed without mercy.   I can understand why Oklahoma residents would feel that the guy got what he deserved.

The Democrat surrender monkeys

Don Surber: ... The Democratic Party victory is seen as a victory for the opponents of democracy in the Middle East in general and Iraq in particular. I am not blaming Democrats. I blame the 31 million Americans who have given up after less than 4 years. They may not eat cheese, but they are surrender monkeys. That half of them supported the war when it began is sickening. I can deal with a Robert C. Byrd. He opposed sending our troops into harm’s way. But Jay Rockefeller? John Kerry? Jack Murtha? They and the hundreds of other Democrats who voted for the war only to give up later are throwing away lives of our Iraqi allies who were foolish enough to trust us when President Bush said we were in Iraq to stay.
