Lybia move proves Dean wrong again
Howard Dean has said that the war in Iraq and the capture of Saddam has not made the US safer. He is wrong. Negotiations to remove Lybia's WMD began around the time the US attack on Iraq began last spring. Final agreement was reached days after pulling Saddam from his hidey hole. If Howard Dean were president, both Saddam and Lybia would still have their WMD programs.
If the DEBKAfiles report is accurate, there was cooperation between Lybia and Iraq. It is possible that that cooperation would have come to light witht he inspection of Iraqi records. If so, this would give more incentive for Lybia to cooperate.
The Lybia agreement is bad news for Dems if they nominate Dean.
