Bragg attempts to deny Trump access to evidence
In a move that has sparked concerns about fairness, the Manhattan district attorney’s office has requested that Donald J. Trump’s access to certain material from his criminal case be limited to only when his lawyers are present. The prosecution has also requested that Trump be prohibited from sharing evidence on social media or through other channels.
These restrictions have been proposed in connection with an investigation into Trump’s handling of classified documents. However, many believe that this move could unfairly hamper Trump’s ability to defend himself and could set a dangerous precedent for the criminal justice system.
