Legal Insurrection:
Media In Sync Trots out ‘QAnon,’ ‘Red Scare’ Cards to Attack Parents Rights Movement
Questioning SCOTUS nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson’s sentencing record towards child sex predators and championing Florida’s new parental rights law is supposed evidence of the GOP ginning up a modern-day version of the “red scare,” wrote Washington Post “reporter” Philip Bump.
I have never met anyone who says they are a member of QAnon. I can't understand why parental concerns would even be described as those of QAnon. What it looks like is it has become an all-purpose slur used by the left to attack those with whom they disagree. The Washington Post writer uses the term red scare without irony. But accusing your political opponents of being QAnon is a closer equivalent to the "red scare" than raising concern about child porno.
