The president’s allies believe that if they can argue that he had a plausible reason for requesting the Biden investigation, they can both defend him against the charges and undercut a political adversary.
There is a wealth of evidence that Joe Biden and his family monetized his office as Vice President.  It was not just Hunter Biden who cashed in.  If the media had been doing its job during the Obama administration it would have made a bigger deal out of their selling access to Joe Biden in the form of lucrative business opportunities for which they had no background or skill.

We will probably see the Democrat double standard on display by the politicians and their cohorts in the media who have no problem with Hunter raking in millions or Joe's brothers getting in deals while those same people act like there is something wrong with the Trumps' renting hotel rooms at existing hotels at the going rate.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014. When the Congressional Budget Office crunched Obamacare's spending numbers, they estimated that only 7% of employees currently covered by employer-sponsored plans would lose their plans. ...
