The drug invaders and their methods

NY Times:

How Smugglers Get Drugs Across the Border

As the United States increases the number of agents, drones, sensors and cameras on the border, smugglers resort to more inventive modes.
While the drug cartels are engaged in a criminal insurgency in Mexico their main business is selling narcotics and dope to Americans.  They use various means to smuggle their product into the US and they are similar inventive in trafficking illegal aliens into the US.

Dope has been found in the spare tires of cars manufactured in Mexico for sale in the US They have also used catapults to launch some dope across the border.  They have hidden it in produce trucks.  The recent trafficking deaths in San Antonio show they are as careless with the lives of their human cargo as they are with the lives of their drug consumers.
