Trump has big lead in another poll

The Hill:
Donald Trump is well ahead of the pack heading into Wednesday night’s third Republican presidential debate, according to a new poll.

Trump has a 14-point lead over his nearest competitor before the contest in Boulder, Colo., according to a One America News Network survey.

Pollsters found support for the real estate mogul at 35.6 percent, compared with 21.7 percent for retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson. Sen. Marco Rubio (Fla.) trails the pair, with 10.7 percent.

“It’s all Trump going into the third debate,” One America CEO Robert Herring Sr. said in a statement Tuesday morning.

“Mr. Trump’s continued top national ranking will also make him the candidate to target Wednesday night,” he added.

Former Gov. Jeb Bush (Fla.) ranks fourth in the new poll, with 7.6 percent. Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas) and former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina follow, with 5.9 percent to her 5.7 percent, respectively.

This poll may be an outlier since other recent polls show the race tightening and a CBS News/NY Times poll has Carson in the lead.  It could also be an indication of the difficulty of polling this year.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014. When the Congressional Budget Office crunched Obamacare's spending numbers, they estimated that only 7% of employees currently covered by employer-sponsored plans would lose their plans. ...
