Perry expects moderators to mange the debate whether Trump is on the stage or not

Real Clear Politics:
Rick Perry says he is confident the moderators of the first Republican presidential debate are “not going to let this turn into a carnival act” with Donald Trump on the stage.

In an interview with RealClearPolitics on Wednesday, the former Texas governor said he has confidence that the Fox News debate’s moderators—Chris Wallace, Megyn Kelly and Bret Baier—will be able to rein in the loquacious business magnate and keep him from stealing the show.

“He’s going to have his four or five minutes like everybody else on that stage is going to have,” Perry said of Trump. “How he decides to use those is his call. If he wants to talk about my glasses or Jeb’s intellect—that’s his call. I’m going to talk about why I would be the best president of any of those people standing on the stage.”
...
I think he is right.  At some point Trump has to start acting Presidential if he wants to have a chance and if he does not that contrast will be apparent during the debate.
