The drone strikes have their critics and some are not the enemy

US drone attacks 'counter-productive', former Obama security adviser claims

US reliance on drones to target terrorists undermines rule of law, is ineffective and has strategic drawbacks, argues Michael Boyle
If the strikes were really counter productive the enemy would not be so desperate for us to stop using them. It is one of their biggest demands in any attempt at negotiations.  Where the drone strikes are sometimes a bad choice is in a situation where we could grab the enemy leader and get intelligence from him through interrogation.  Obama's warped sense of morality is such that he favors killing over capture, because he does not want to add to the enemy in Gitmo.  In that he is wrong, and is hampering the war effort.
