Syrian rebels control area where regime was once dominate

Rebels are occupying Alawite houses in a region known for its tradition of sectarian coexistence in an offensive that looks likely to determine the fate of the country's cosmopolitan heart
It is an interesting interview with the rebels including some of al Qaeda's fighters.  The Alawite are being wiped out, however the Christians seem to be survivors for now.
