I think there are some at other networks. I know that when I was dealing with people in other parts of the country they could not distinguish my accent.
Parts of West Texas and East Texas still have some twang, but the big cities have what would be called an American accent. Most Texans would probably tell you we don't have an accent, it is the rest of the world that sounds a little different.
As others move in, the Texas twang is dyin', y'allThe story suggest that the Texas accent is being effected by the alien invasion from other states, but even with all the Californians moving here, people have not started calling each other "dude." The Canadian "eh" has not become part of the conversation.
