Newport Beach stuck with bill for Obama visit


The Secret Service and Obama campaign both decline to reimburse the city for police security at a fundraiser. The city will be sending past-due notices.
For hard pressed California cities the cost of Obama's fundraiser becomes an unintended in kind contribution.  It also tells you how over stretched the Obama campaign is.
