Qaddafi wounded, captured or killed
Al Jazeera:
"Don't shoot," Qaddafi is quoted as saying to the soldier who captured him by the BBC.
The NY Times is now reporting that Qaddafi was killed and that the rebels have his body which was shown on Al Jazeera.
Reuters says a photo of a dead looking Qaddafi is being shown on television.
Libyan TV is reporting that Muammar Gaddafi has been captured by NTC fighters in Sirte.
Jamal abu-Shaalah, a field commander of NTC, told Al Jazeera that the toppled leader had been seized, but it was not clear whether he was dead or alive. Gaddafi is captured and is wounded, Abdel Majid, another NTC official, told the Reuters news agency.
"He's captured. He's wounded in both legs ... He's been taken away by ambulance," the senior NTC military official said.
...The report also indicates that the head of Qaddafi's army was killed at the same time. These reports have not been confired, but if true, they will hopefully bring some closure to this revolution and to the Libyan people who have lived under his despotic rule for over 40 years.
