Foreign policy not an asset for Obama

NY Times:

Successes Overseas Are Unlikely to Help Obama at Home

The reason this is so is because Republicans have not really opposed his successes.  There were probably better ways to approach the Libyan war, but most of the quibbles with the objectives came from the left with the exception of Ron Paul.   Obama will take some heat on Iraq, especially if the retreat leads to a breakdown of the Iraq government or increased Iran influence.  The same thing could happen in Afghanistan if the retreat proves premature their too.  He is taking the real chance of squandering our investments in both countries to please his kook base.
