China making a fool of itself over Tiawan

Reuters via CNN:

China's parliament has approved a contentious anti-secession bill that mandates the use of military force against Taiwan if the self-ruled island, which Beijing claims as its own, formally declares statehood.

China hopes the law will deter Taiwan President Chen Shui-bian from pushing for the democratic island's independence before the end of his second and last term in 2008, analysts say.

The bill, which stipulates that resorting to "non-peaceful" means against Taiwan is a last resort, could ratchet up tension in one of the most dangerous flashpoints in Asia.

Chen has denounced it as a threat to regional security and sought to rally the island against it.

If Tiawan is really already a part of China, why is China aiming 800 missiles at itself? How many representives of Tiawan serve in the Parliament that passed this silly bill? Has China levied any taxes in Tiawan. Could the "President" of China visit Tiawan? When it comes to Tiawan the Chinese have no clothes. Their pretense of sovereignty, makes them look silly, childish and delusional.
