The politics of spray painting
On Wednesday, someone carrying an Extinction Rebellion insignia that read "Game Over" spray-painted over the presidential insignia at the Trump Tower in NYC.
Except the game was over very quickly for the climate activist, as what looked like security or Secret Service descended upon him immediately. An agent immediately began to hook him up.
An elderly man then tried to intervene saying, "Don't touch him." Are you kidding? You don't get to vandalize the building and not get arrested. He acts like this guy should get a pass. The old man then immediately started questioning the guy that looked like Secret Service, asking for his name and if he was "police" or had a "badge." The Secret Service guy looked at him like he was nuts. They took the activist away as he shouted, "This is our country...They cannot ruin it without comment."
Hey, guys, if you clean it off, he still did it; it doesn't excuse it.
This wasn't the first incident this week in New York, in fact it was the fourth. My colleague Bob Hoge wrote about how they even went after the Wall Street bull.
They also hit the Tesla dealership in Manhattan, with two spray-painting the windows with anti-DOGE expressions and swear words.
The objection that Elon Musk is "unelected" is just so dumb and cult-like. Don't they ever consider that virtually all the government employees who have had their information in the past were "unelected"? And he's acting at the behest of the guy who was duly-elected by the people, President Donald Trump. So it makes absolutely no sense.

The left is desperate enough to engage in vandalism against Trump and the Wall Street Bull statue.See also:
