How the Democrats lost public support

Matt Margolis: ... The New York Times editorial board just discovered what conservatives have been saying for years: the Democratic Party is completely out of touch with everyday Americans. It’s a stunning rebuke from a paper that typically carries the water for Dems. The Times finally admitted the obvious: Democrats' obsession with identity politics and their "scolding, censorious posture" have driven voters straight into Republicans' arms. “In the aftermath of this comprehensive defeat, many party leaders have decided that they do not need to make significant changes to their policies or their message,” the editorial board writes. “They have instead settled on a convenient explanation for their plight.” They then point out that Democrats are in denial about their electoral struggles, clinging to the idea that they are merely victims of post-pandemic inflation and poor messaging rather than deeper political failures. Party leaders insist their policies are popular ...

The farmer pervert agenda

Headline USA: USDA Paid to Study Queer Farmers, Latinx Masculinity, More on Taxpayer Dime 'Initially, the project aimed to interview farmers directly, but due to the difficulties in accessing this hard-to-reach population, the focus shifted to institutional perspectives...' This was a total waste of money.  The sexual orientation of farmers or any other group need not be studied.

This literally blew us away.” “If I hadn't seen this myself, I'm not sure I believed it. I went through it myself and mapped it. And Elon is right. This is true. The Greenland play

Federalist Wire: ... Vice President JD Vance took a decisive step onto the icy terrain of Greenland on Friday, visiting the U.S. military’s northernmost outpost, Pituffik Space Base. His message was clear and confident: the Trump administration sees no need for military force in Greenland, despite President Donald Trump’s blunt declaration the same day that “We have to have Greenland.” The visit, accompanied by second lady Usha Vance, national security adviser Mike Waltz, Secretary of Energy Chris Wright, and Utah Sen. Mike Lee, signaled a renewed focus on America’s strategic interests in the Arctic—interests the administration believes have been neglected for far too long. President Trump has made no secret of his ambition to bring Greenland under American influence, a goal he reiterated to reporters at the White House. “We need Greenland, very importantly, for international security,” he said with characteristic resolve. “We have to have Greenland. It’s not a question of, ‘Do yo...

District courts should not be imposing nationwide injunctions

Wall Street Journal: This month’s NBC poll finds more registered voters believe our country is on the right track than at any other point in the past two decades. But amid President Trump’s flurry of executive action, federal district judges have increasingly—and inappropriately—inserted themselves into the national policy debate. They have repeatedly chosen not only to decide the cases before them, but also to issue orders derailing executive policy nationwide. These nationwide injunctions have become a favorite tool for those seeking to obstruct Mr. Trump’s agenda. More than two-thirds of all universal injunctions issued over the past 25 years were levied against the first Trump administration. In the past two months alone, judges have issued at least 15 universal injunctions against the administration—surpassing the 14 President Biden faced throughout his four-year term. Scholars can find no clear record of a universal injunction issued before 1963. The practice has become comm...
