Biden Toys With an LNG Export Permitting Ban

Energy prices have retreated since Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, but America’s enemies haven’t. So it’s hard to believe the Biden Administration is considering an election-year gift to Russia and Iran: An embargo on permitting new liquefied natural gas (LNG) export projects.

Our sources say Biden adviser John Podesta is pushing the idea in the White House as a sop to the climate lobby, which is still furious over the Administration’s approval of ConocoPhillips ’ Willow oil project in Alaska. “We can help Gulf Coast residents stop the onslaught of LNG export terminals,” chief climate lobbyist Bill McKibben tweeted last week.

I do not find it hard to believe because the Biden administration has been pandering to the climate kooks ever since it took office and started by restricting drilling and reversing the Trump policies.  The price of gas at the pump went up immediately and then he started emptying the petroleum reserve rather than going back to the more sane Trump policies.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014. When the Congressional Budget Office crunched Obamacare's spending numbers, they estimated that only 7% of employees currently covered by employer-sponsored plans would lose their plans. ...
