The Dems' Biden problem

 Biz Pac Review:

New York Times reporter Jonathan Martin is running with the latest Democrat talking point in an attempt to distance themselves from President Biden, claiming he was an “emergency nominee” in 2020 and that his age should have been factored in.

“I think Obama being out there in places that Biden cannot go, Georgia, Nevada, the two most obvious examples, it does say a lot about Democrats, sort of where the party is today, right?” Martin commented. “But Biden was essentially an emergency nominee in 2020 because the entire criteria of the party – who can beat Trump – and he was obviously the answer.”

“But there was not a lot of thought given to longer-term planning so they now have a near 80-year-old incumbent president and they’re relying on somebody who was last on the ballot a decade ago to come in as their closer in the midterms,” he added. “It tells you a lot about where things are and – there is a bench there, but it is just not quite there ready to go in the game just yet because Biden is still the president.”

It says something about the Democrats that Biden was the best they had in 2020.  He turned out to be a bigger dud than they expected.  He was not able to resist their ridiculous agenda which made the party much weaker.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014. When the Congressional Budget Office crunched Obamacare's spending numbers, they estimated that only 7% of employees currently covered by employer-sponsored plans would lose their plans. ... Bin Laden's concern about Zarqawi's remains
