Lockdowns more devastating to learning than pandemic

- The results of a U.S. test showed just how devastating the last two years have been for 9-year-old schoolchildren, especially the most vulnerable.
- The setbacks could have powerful consequences for a generation of children who must move beyond basics in elementary school to thrive later on.
It was the response by mainly Democrats who lockdown learning in response to the pandemic. It was completely unnecessary and students in non-lockdown states were not affected or infected for the most part. It was mainly a blue state problem.
