Ted Cruz looking strong in primary and general election for his Senate seat

Red States:
The Dallas Morning News foolishly endorsed one of his Republican opponents a few days ago, but does Ted Cruz have anything to worry about this year?

The eyes of Texas are upon the masses of people running for both the Republican and Democrat nominees for Senate, and so UT and the Texas Tribune polled those races.

I can’t resist: this race is on Cruz control. That’s right. I said it.

Despite having four Republican challengers, Senator Ted Cruz is up 88 points, with 91% of the Republican vote. Governor Greg Abbott is doing even better, he’s up 90 points at 95-5 over his lone competitor.
...
Cruz has done a good job as senator since in run for President ended.  He has met with business leaders and employees across the state.  He is well positioned to defeat his likely Democrat opponent Beto O'Rourke a congressman from El Paso.  Democrats seem to be throwing money at the race despite their limited chances.

As the piece notes Abbott is also in strong position to be reelected as Governor.  Most of his oppostion is tied to the abortion lobby and some school officials who are reluctant to control spending.

Speaking of abortion, I have a question I would like to see on attitudes toward abortion.  What percentage of the population wishes they have been aborted?  I think it would give some perspective on the issue.
