The sickness of some in the Muslim culture

Asian is Brit speak for Pakistani Muslims.  Why does these people thinks murdering their children brings honor to the family?  I certainly can't blame the kids for wanting to escape from parental control freaks.

I know kids can be disappointing from time to time, but you cannot live their life for them and you can't act as if the family honor is wrapped up in your daughters decisions.
