Where are the captures on this list?
NY Times:
We are at war, and it is necessary to kill the enemy in any war. I don't have a problem with that, but if you can capture the enemy and interrogate him it is wise to do so, because you can possibly learn valuable information that leads to other enemy combatants or foiling terrorist plots as we did with the information we got from KSM. But it seems Obama would rather kill than capture. It is funny how leftist scruples work.
I am having trouble recalling any captures. He certainly has been reluctant to add any detainees to Gitmo. His so called interrogation unit has been unused as far as I can tell. His animus toward Gitmo is such that he in effect allowed Iraq to release a Hezballah terrorist who murdered Americans in Iran. It was a shameful act by Obama and the Iraqis.Secret ‘Kill List’ Proves a Test of Obama’s Will and Principles
