The charge of racism against those who are critical of Wright and Obama is just another attempt by liberals to avoid a conversation about a guy who proclaimed from the pulpit, "God damn America." Is Mathews suggesting that say that is a "black thing?" Short of racist demagogues like Louis Farrakhan I have never heard any other black preachers making such a statement.
There has been recent evidence that someone close to Obama offered Wright $150,000 to be quite during the 2008 campaign. Why would he do that, if he did not view him as a political liability in that contest. Was Obama making an attack on his on race?
