Obama not too keen on profits

Politico:

Obama: Profit motives don't belong in the W.H.

Of course without profits no one would have jobs.  No one.  Even the government needs companies like Bain to make a profit so they will pay taxes which can then be used to pay government workers like Obama.  The President is trying to make the case that because Bain had a profit motive that made it a poor job creator.   The guy really has a poor understanding of how the economy works.  No business is motivated by creating jobs, but it cannot create any jobs without profits.  The weakness of Obama's argument is that he does not comprehend how the goal of creating profits has the added benefit of creating jobs.

I have made the argument that Obama has a vastly overrated intellect.  He appears to be basing his campaign on the hopes that voters have an inferior one.  He continues to show his hostility to business with this line of argument.  No wonder he has done such a poor job of creating jobs.
