Sarah Palin and the Sally Quinn empathy deficit

To my knowledge, Sally Quinn has never been accused of mass murder or complicity in mass murder.  Perhaps that explains her complete lack of empathy for Sarah Palin who has suffered attacks from the left indicating she was responsible for the weirdo in Arizona's attack on a Congresswoman and several others.  Quinn not only lacks empathy, she think Palin should not have responded to the false charges.  I am sure the left would like for Palin to not respond to any of their aspersions so it would be easier to defeat her politically.  I am also sure the liberal fantasy land on the Washington cocktail circuit would like for all conservatives to go away.

But, unlike Quinn, most Americans thought Palin's speech was an effective way to deal with the bogus charges.

    a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll finds:

Sarah Palin's favorable rating dropped to 38%, the lowest since just after bursting onto the national scene as John McCain's running mate in 2008. In the wake of controversy over her response to the Tucson shooting, her unfavorable rating hit a new high, 53%.

The poll of 1,032 adults taken Friday through Sunday (Jan. 14-16) has an error margin of 4 percentage points.
