The pink book bags and the faces of hope on the girls who are now able to go back to school is an image you are unlikely to see in the NY Times. Too many in the media are too committed to defeating the hope evident in the faces of these young people, but fortunately the 1st Cav and many other people in the US want to keep that hope alive.
