Any sarin under your sink?

You know it's election time when Rep. Jane Harman (D-Calif), who is normally fairly level-headed about War on Terror matters, asserted on Fox News today the newly-reported chemical weapons discovered in Iraq were old and therefore no more dangerous than aging items one might find "under the kitchen sink." Leaving aside whether Harman (a lawyer by training) has any serious background in chemistry and is even remotely qualified to opine on such technical-scientific matters, I would bet my house that if the Congresswoman found any twenty year old sarin under her kitchen sink, she would get the Hell out of the bulding and call the police and anyone else should could think of as quickly as possible. She may be accusing Santorum and Hoekstra of political posturing, but she's doing some pretty obvious posturing of her own. Let's hope if she get reelected, she'll come back to her more rational positions the second week in November.

Anyone making such ridiculous statements whould be required to keep one of the aged shells in his house undtil they change theior mind. The problem with this solution is that there are too many deranged Democrats, so the supply would be exhausted too soon. However we could put the on a waiting list to get one of the aged shells after a previous holder came to their senses.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014. When the Congressional Budget Office crunched Obamacare's spending numbers, they estimated that only 7% of employees currently covered by employer-sponsored plans would lose their plans. ...
