A "translation" of Iranian President's speech

Small Wars Journal:

"The United States is too powerful for Iran to counter that country's promotion of democracy, human rights and basic freedoms for the world's people through conventional diplomatic or military means."

"We fear America and what she represents because truly free Iranians would sweep the current leadership of Iran from power. We know what is best for our people and take 'great pains' to ensure they understand our intentions and insure they toe the line."

"We urge the United Nations to aid and abet our efforts to keep the US at bay long enough for Iran to produce a sufficient number of nuclear weapons, as well as missile delivery means, to hold the world hostage. Additionally, we request your subtle support in reference to our backing of terrorist organizations and individuals."

"Moreover, I implore this body to promote spirituality according to our interpretations of the Koran and maintain the condemnation of Israel and turn a blind eye to the Jihadist movement of Al-Qaeda and company."

"Lastly, I encourage you to explore the institutionalization of justice at the international level. The Iranian delegation's booth in the back of the hall contains brochures on our vision of global Shari'a."
