Destruction as clear as the direction of falling trees

Beaumont Enterprise:

Flying east from Beaumont over Orange County on Monday, the destruction left behind by Hurricane Rita is as clear as the direction of the fallen trees.

Throughout Orange County, large swaths of trees from Vidor to Orange were knocked flat by the storm, most of them strewn on the ground pointing south from the power of the swirling winds that came from the north.
There is much more with several aerial photos of damage.
