FBI accused of spying on Republicans

 DC Daily Journal:

In a stunning revelation that highlights the weaponization of federal agencies against conservatives, newly uncovered FBI documents show that agents tailed Republican Congressman Scott Perry from Pennsylvania right up to his congressional office and personal home. This happened just weeks before they swooped in to grab his cell phone as part of a massive investigation into alleged 2020 election interference.

The operation, codenamed “Arctic Frost,” zeroed in on almost 100 entities linked to Republicans following Donald Trump’s defeat. These unclassified documents, reviewed by the New York Post, paint a picture of a bureau hell-bent on tracking down anyone who dared question the election results.

One chilling FBI note spells it out plainly: “Goal from surveillance is to get a pattern of life, identify his vehicle, and possibly identify a location to serve him with a SW [seizure warrant].” It’s clear they were building a dossier on Perry’s every move to make their raid as seamless as possible.

Agents kept tabs on Perry starting July 25, 2022, logging his activities at his residence “just south of Harrisburg,” Pennsylvania, and at two separate workplaces in Washington, D.C. Then, on August 4, they followed him to a “recreation center” in the capital, treating a sitting congressman like a common criminal.

Just five days after the final surveillance entry, on August 9, 2022, the FBI struck while Perry was on vacation in New Jersey during congressional recess. They executed the warrant and seized his phone without a heads-up.

The timing couldn’t be more suspicious—it came one day after the raid on President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Florida. Agents even plotted to secretly record an interview with Perry on the same day, showing how far they’d go to trap him.

The actions against Perry and Trump look like a partisan hit by some FBI agents.  Those responsible for ordering these raids have likely lost their jobs and potentially will lose them.
