With the swagger of a team that knows it’s got the people’s back, Vance laid out the no-nonsense stance of the Trump White House: if you’re an illegal immigrant with a rap sheet, your days in the U.S. are numbered—permission slip or not.
The administration’s been flexing its muscle, invoking the Alien Enemies Act to ship out members of the vicious Tren de Agua gang and tossing out Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran national tied to MS-13. Democrats are clutching their pearls over Garcia’s exit, but Vance isn’t fazed. “We do the American people’s business,” he said, doubling down on the mission to purge the nation of illegal immigrants who’ve racked up serious criminal records. This isn’t about playing nice—it’s about keeping Americans safe.
Take Garcia’s case. “Back in 2019, an immigration judge looked at all the evidence, looked at all the data and concluded that this allegedly innocent person that we sent to El Salvador was actually a member of an MS-13 gang,” Vance explained. “He had also committed some traffic violations, he had not shown up for some court dates. This is not exactly father of the year here, this is a person that we don’t think should be in our country.” The guy’s not winning any citizenship awards, and the Trump team isn’t shedding tears over his departure.
Vance didn’t stop there. “Here’s the most important point, though, Lawrence [Jones] is whatever the argument is, whatever the justification is, no one doubts that no even the crazy, left-wing media criticizes the idea that we can deport this person,” he said. “They just took issue with the reasoning for why we deported this person. This was unquestionably an illegal alien, this was unquestionably a person who broke the laws to get into our country, this is unquestionably a person who an immigration judge had found had zero right to be in the United States of America. We do not ask permission from far-left Democrats before we deport illegal immigrants. We do the American people’s business.” It’s a mic-drop moment—logic so tight even the screeching left can’t poke holes in it.

The Democrats' open border policy has made US citizens less safe. The Trump-Vance team is returning sanity to the immigration issue. It should be inarguable that someone tied to a criminal gang like Tren de Agua and MS-13 should not be allowed in the country. The Democrats don't have a case on this issue.
