Growing threats against law enforcement
...
The Trump administration is delivering on its promise to protect law enforcement and secure the nation, as federal officials just nabbed a Texas man for allegedly threatening to unleash violence on deportation officers and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. This arrest sends a loud and clear message: mess with Trump’s team, and you’ll face the full force of the law.
Robert King, a U.S. citizen from north Texas, found himself in handcuffs courtesy of Homeland Security Investigations, a tough-as-nails division of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The agency dropped the news on Wednesday, revealing that King had been spewing dangerous threats across social media. Among his unhinged posts? A vow to “open fire” on any ICE agents he spotted in his neighborhood, plus direct attacks aimed at Secretary Noem herself.
A senior DHS official, speaking to the Daily Caller News Foundation, laid it out plain and simple: “Like Secretary Noem said: If you threaten or attempt to harm a law enforcement officer we will find you and prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law.” The official didn’t stop there, adding a nod to President Trump’s signature style: “Promises made, promises kept.” That’s the kind of no-nonsense leadership Americans voted for.
This takedown comes amid a wave of chaos and violence aimed at the Trump administration and its allies. From coast to coast, vandals and radicals have been lashing out, and the administration isn’t sitting idly by. Take Tesla, for instance—led by Elon Musk, a key Trump advisor. The company’s properties have been hit hard, with at least 80 reported cases of vandalism or arson. We’re talking shattered windows, Molotov cocktails, torched charging stations, and even “Nazi” graffiti scrawled on cars. Federal law enforcement has had enough, launching a task force to smash these attacks and restore order.
Meanwhile, college campuses have turned into battlegrounds, with aggressive student protests targeting Trump’s policies. These demonstrations aren’t just loud—they’ve allegedly involved occupying university buildings and harassing Jewish students. The administration’s response? Decisive action. The State Department yanked visas from about 300 foreign students tied to pro-Hamas and anti-Semitic outbursts. That’s what winning looks like—cleaning up the mess and protecting American values.
As Trump’s team ramps up its mission to detain and deport illegal migrants, the opposition is getting desperate. Some Democrat leaders have even flirted with outright defiance. Denver Mayor Mike Johnston, for example, briefly toyed with the idea of sending his police to block ICE agents at the county line back in November. He’s since backed off, likely realizing he was picking a fight he couldn’t win. Then there’s New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who’s been whining about immigration enforcement for years. In February, she got paranoid, asking the DOJ if they were investigating her after her office ran a webinar coaching illegal migrants on dodging ICE. The answer? Probably not—but she’s clearly feeling the heat.
Border czar Tom Homan, the powerhouse driving Trump’s deportation push, isn’t playing games. He’s made it crystal clear: anyone dumb enough to obstruct his ICE agents will get a one-way ticket to prosecution. This isn’t a suggestion—it’s a guarantee. Homan’s got the backing of an administration that’s dead serious about law and order.

I can think of a few things that are less intelligent than threatening law enforcement on social media. There is nothing quite like making a record of your criminal intent. As a former prosecutor, I would certainly use that in any indictment. AOC has never struck me as all that intelligent. College students who threaten politicians are setting themselves up for career ruin.
