Out of control immigration under Biden
...
Immigration into the United States has experienced an unprecedented surge, surpassing federal projections by a considerable margin, as highlighted in a recent report from the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) released on Thursday.
As of February 2024, the total immigrant population in the U.S. has reached a record-breaking 51.4 million individuals, constituting 15.5% of the nation’s total populace. This figure, disclosed by CIS, contradicts earlier forecasts by the U.S. Census Bureau, which had predicted that the proportion of foreign-born nationals wouldn’t hit 15.5% until at least 2039, rendering those projections outdated, as noted by CIS authors Steven Camarota and Karen Zeigler.
This 15.5% encompasses both legally documented immigrants and those residing unlawfully in the country, as analyzed by CIS through an examination of the Census Bureau’s Current Population Survey (CPS). Approximately 25% of the 51.4 million foreign nationals currently residing in the U.S. are undocumented migrants, with the remaining 75% holding legal status.
Under the Biden administration’s tenure alone, the immigrant population in the U.S. has surged by 6.4 million, with CIS estimating that over half of this increase comprises illegal immigrants. This influx surpasses the entire populations of 33 individual states.

The 25% of immigrants who are illegal in the US is largely because Biden changed the immigration policies that were working under Trump.
