Polling suggests difficult post war period in Gaza
How many times have you heard some politician or press member state that "Palestinians don't support Hamas" over the last month? Probably more times than one can count, but is that true? That's a question that is answered by a new poll out of Gaza and the West Bank, and the results are both shocking and deeply disturbing.
We've known from the beginning that many supported the October 7th massacre carried out in Israel by Hamas. In the immediate aftermath, celebrations broke out as bodies and hostages were paraded through the streets. We also know that civilians took part in those attacks, both with violence and looting.
But just how many are actually supportive of the wholesale slaughter that took place? Now, we have some hard numbers, and they blow up the predominant narrative.
These numbers aren't even close. The vast majority of Palestinians not only have a positive view of Hamas, but they support the terrorist government's atrocities. They also seem to resent Iran for not providing them with more material support in their attacks against Israel.
Is this poll reliable? There's reason to believe it is. Namely, because it was taken by a firm out of Ramallah in the West Bank. The poll shows a far higher approval for Hamas than the Palestinian Authority, with the latter actually being viewed negatively overall. That heavily suggests there was no government influence impacting this poll. Further, more people in the West Bank support Hamas than in Gaza, a result you wouldn't see if the poll wasn't an honest representation.
...
This sounds like a poll taken in Germany before the defeat of the Nazis in World War II. It makes it more imperative for Israel to thoroughly destroy Hamas. A ceasefire under these conditions would be bound to fail at this point and would likely lead to greater bloodshed in both Israel and Gaza.

Pro-Palestinian group shares ‘reprehensible’ antisemitic map of NYC targets on social media
A pro-Palestinian activist group shared a frightening map of New York City newsrooms, businesses and landmark buildings — and called for “direct action” to “globalize intifada.”
In addition to news buildings, Within Our Lifetime, which describes itself as a Palestinian-led community organization, called for followers to target the offices of technology companies
“Each of the locations on this map reflects the location of an office of an enemy of both the Palestinian people and colonized people all over the world. Today and beyond, these locations will be sites for popular mobilization in defense of our people,” the sickening Wednesday night post read.
“May this map serve as a call for every struggle to act in their own interest. As we do so, we uplift one another’s struggles and free Palestine from the river to the sea,” it continued, repeating the Palestine Liberation Organization mantra adopted by Hamas that calls for the eradication of Israel.
The controversial post has since been deleted.

Biden Admin Pushing Coup in Israel
"The US has begun to ask about the possibility of a more moderate government being shuffled in"
The Biden administration keeps talking about the urgent need for Israel to have a post-war plan for Gaza. What that really means is that it wants the PLO to take over Gaza. Netanyahu has opposed that for now. The Palestinian Authority is run by Fatah, the body behind the PLO, and is just another Islamic terrorist group. And parts of it claimed to have taken part in the Oct 7 massacres. But none of that is stopping the Biden administration from its obsession.
The thinking is that if the Palestinian Authority takes over Gaza, it can force negotiations on a Two-State Solution and finally bring peace by empowering terrorists. A policy that has brought nothing but terror for 30 years.
And now that Israel’s government is in the way, it’s time to get it out of the way.

Bahrain crown prince blasts ‘intolerable’ situation in Gaza, demands Hamas release hostages
Bahrain’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa blasts the “intolerable” situation in Gaza and calls on Hamas to immediately release the roughly 240 hostages held in the enclave.
“I don’t think any Arab leader has called on Hamas to do this…So it is a time for straight talking,” Khalifa says ahead of the annual Manama Dialogue security summit.
He proposes Israel release the non-combatant female and teenage prisoners currently in its jails in exchange for the hostages in Gaza.
The Crown Prince notes that both the Quran and the Torah “both prohibit the killing of civilians.”

Israel has made clear that the release of the prisoners is a precondition of any ceasefire.
