Hamas using mosques as command center

 Daily Wire:

Israeli officials say that they executed an aerial strike on a mosque inside Gaza that was being used as a command center for terrorists who were preparing to carry out “a significant and imminent terror attack.”

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it launched the attack on the command center located under the Al-Ansar Mosque early Sunday local time in conjunction with Shin Bet, an Israeli intelligence agency.

“In a joint IDF and ISA activity, the IAF conducted an aerial strike on an underground terror compound in the Al-Ansar mosque in Jenin,” the IDF said in a statement. “The mosque contained a terror cell of Hamas and Islamic Jihad terror operatives who were organizing an imminent terror attack.”

The statement said that these were the same terrorists who were responsible “for several terror attacks over the last months.”

“Intel was recently received which indicated that the terrorists who were neutralized were organizing an imminent terror attack,” the statement added. “The mosque was used by the terrorists as a command center to plan the attacks and as a base for their execution.”

The tunnels under the mosque were used to store vast quantities of various weapons, according to images released by the IDF.

I suspect Hamas has multiple reasons for using mosques as command centers and weapon depots.  They believe that they are protected by their religion and they also believe that Israeli attacks on the mosques will insight Muslims in other parts of the world.   Their brutal attacks on Israeli non-combatants that started the war certainly gave Israel a terrible resolve that they are feeling the impact of and a lessening of any reserve about striking religious sites.  I suspect that Iran is using mosques as sites for instigating riots around the world in hopes of putting outside pressure on Israel to restrain its attacks.

Thousands of protesters demanding eradication of Israel clash with NYPD

...

The “Flood Brooklyn for Palestine” demonstration devolved into chaos as night fell, with protesters completely shutting down traffic, screaming at police and lighting small fires in the middle of the roadways.

The aggressive protesters dug their heels into the ground when the NYPD tried to push them out of 72nd Street and Fifth Avenue, where 5,000 ralliers converged earlier in the day to demand that the United States withdraw support for its closest ally in the Middle East.

Officers began plucking individuals out of the massive flood — as well as from the inside of one pick-up truck carrying ralliers — of the Palestine flag-waving horde in an effort to quell the out-of-control rally.

1350% Increase in London Anti-Semitic Crimes Amid Israel-Hamas War

...

Since the beginning of October, anti-Semitic crimes have shot up a stunning 1,350% in London, Breitbart reported on Oct. 21. The statistics were released before a large pro-Palestinian London protest. Unfortunately, the London police were only able to make 21 arrests. That is less than seven percent of cases where an arrest was made! How many of these anti-Semitic criminals will be repeat offenders?

Blinken warns US 'won't hesitate' to get involved in Israel-Hamas war if line is crossed

The United States is poised to get involved in the Israel-Hamas war should the conflict escalate into regional forces intentionally targeting American personnel, senior officials said.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said Sunday that the U.S. expects Iranian proxies to seek opportunities to escalate the Israel-Hamas war and asserted that the Biden administration is prepared to respond accordingly if American civilians or armed forces become targets.

The fact is that Iranian-backed terrorists have already been attacking US troops in the Middle East.  There have been several attacks in Iraq.

There have been several demonstrations in Europe in support of the Hamas mass murderers. They mostly want Israel to stop responding to the mass murders.
