Will Joe give Hunter Biden a pardon?

 National Review:

Federal investigators believe they have gathered enough evidence to charge President Joe Biden’s son Hunter “with tax crimes and a false statement related to a gun purchase,” according to a bombshell new report from the Washington Post.

Federal investigators associated with the FBI and IRS determined months ago that they had sufficient evidence to indict the younger Biden but it is now up to the U.S. attorney in Delaware, who was appointed by former president Trump, to determine whether to charge him, per the Post.

Both Hunter Biden and his father have been the subject of much criticism from the president’s political rivals — especially former president Donald Trump — who have accused both Bidens of corruption and the younger one of being the beneficiary of politically-motivated double standards.

In the lead up to the 2020 presidential election, the New York Post reported that a laptop containing incriminating evidence had been left at a repair shop in Delaware. The report was panned as Russian disinformation by much of the press, but was later authenticated.

Not mentioned is the alleged influence-peddling operation that is said to have netted millions for the Bidens. The alleged tax crimes and false statement claims do not appear to be as consequential as the influence-peddling operation which will also benefit Joe Biden.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014. When the Congressional Budget Office crunched Obamacare's spending numbers, they estimated that only 7% of employees currently covered by employer-sponsored plans would lose their plans. ...
