Race based admission policies vs. merit

In Affirmative Action Clash, Both Sides Invoke Brown v. Board of Education

The Supreme Court will hear arguments about admissions policies at Harvard and the University of North Carolina — and the meaning of a civil rights landmark.

Both the students and the country are better served by making admission decisions based on merit and not on ethnicity.  The current policy discriminates mainly against Asians.
