The Democracy in peril canard

 NY Times:

Voters See Democracy in Peril, but Saving It Isn’t a Priority

A Times/Siena College poll found that other problems have seized U.S. voters’ focus — even as many do not trust election results and are open to anti-democratic candidates.

I certainly do not see democracy in peril. This is a statement that many on the left have used since questions were raised about the 2020 presidential election, especially by many Trump supporters.  I do think the media and many on the left were too dismissive of the concerns raised about the 2020 election where Covid became an excuse for doing away with normal voter integrity measures.  Those voter integrity measures should be restored to restore confidence in the election results.

Biden has been a disaster in the view of a majority of Americans  Many of them would like to have their votes back, particularly because the media attempted to cover up the Biden family corruption exposed to some extent by Hunter Biden's laptop.  Treating that laptop as "Russian disinformation" was an elaborate fraud perpetrated by Biden supporters and the media who should have known better.
